The Pinks & Blues Girls define Pink. In 5 shades.
Soft Pink. Cherry Blossom. Magenta. Fuchsia. Hot Pink.
Which Pink are you?
We show you how to define, redefine and cross the (pink) line… from clothing to home décor, make-up to accessories, toys to electronics, pet gear to gift ideas. And everything “pink”-tween.
Pinks & Blues features CRATE & BARREL
1) Soft Pink
Subdued, Traditional Mama
She puts the “Dish” in traditional. She ain’t no fuddy-duddy! She’s sporting the soft pink Burberry scarf, but does she choose white lace or 100% cotton panties under that plaid skirt?
Crate & Barrel’s Classic Century Platter

This is the dish of traditional. Classic. Clean. Crisp. Pearl-ish-ious!

2) Cherry Blossom
Mama Earth, Mama-licious
She puts the “Green” in pink. Hipster chic, she’s cruising the aisles of Whole Foods in comfy crocs and fabulous socks! Under that vintage tee? Hanes tank… or nothing!?
Crate & Barrel’s Sardinia Platter

Think warmth. Radiate beauty. Simply stated, yet universally perfect.

3) Magenta
Mama-zecutive, she puts the “Do” in To-Do
Mama doesn’t have time to be frazzled. Manolos at noon. Prada (loafers, of course) at playdate. Nikes at night. Barefoot in bed (with laptop!).
Crate & Barrel’s Nuit Platter

Four-cornered perfect. Elegant, yet bold enough to make a statement. Serve with oysters for company, or crackers and cheese in bed.

4) Fuchsia
Glama-Mama. Never tryin’… Always stylin’
She’s a magnet for magnificent. Trends find her. She can accessorize her LBD (Little Black Dress) with anything from Target to J. Crew to Michael Kors… and make it work every time.
Toss Lola out for any occasion. From breakfast on the deck, to stacks of grilled cheese for the kids’ lunch. Or just hand it to the caterer!

5) Hot Pink
Shamelessly Saucy. Eccentrically Perfect, Perfectly Eccentric
She can pull off hot pink mules with a dash of feathers at her kid’s open house. Lingerie with jeans. High-heeled boots. OK, high-heeled anything!
Bold. Daring. Adventurous. A flourishing touch for your table.

I read all the descriptions for each shade of pink, and I’m shocked to say that there’s no one shade of pink that describes me perfectly. I’m a little bit of all of them. Sometimes I’m a soft pink kind of gal and sometimes I’m a fuscia girlie. Hmmmmmmmm!
